Although each client’s needs are unique, and every project will have its own trajectory of development, the following
is a general description of how an assignment is likely to unfold, from commencement to completion:
|
We meet the client one or more times to ascertain the goals, requirements, and budget of the client.
We produce and present a requirements document on which both Skyinsite and the client agree, based upon the client’s budget.
The two parties sign a contract that clearly specifies the amount of work to be done, the mode of verification for each stage of the process, and times of payment.
The actual work of building or modifying the website commences.
A prototype is designed and shown to the client.
Upon approval of the prototype, website coding begins.
As the website starts to take shape, it is continually evaluated to ensure that it conforms to the original requirements.
When the website is completed, a neutral, outside observer tests it to discover any flaws.
(If the average user is not pleased with the usability and appearance of the website, then we consider it not yet ready
for delivery to the client.)
The website undergoes a final round of testing and polishing.
The website is posted on the internet.
The client makes the final payment for the work upon its successful conclusion.
